So yesterday got me thinking about my life as a Christian. Just a few weeks ago we had to say Goodbye for just a little while to one of our special one of a kind youth leaders at Free Life, Bryan Reese, because he was killed in an automobile accident. This young man was so on fire for God and was like a real brother to me. I miss him everyday. The biggest part I miss the most is how dedicated he was to the ministry of Jesus Christ. So it’s got me thinking.
Our world has got some things confused. I hear things like well your too busy, doing ministry with small children is not good for them, let things go so you can have more time for yourself, don’t stress just stay calm over it all. I begin to think about how Bryan was before he moved to Heaven.
He was stressed sometimes, he was crazy busy, he was doing ministry with no money, and besides all of that he was passionate, hard-working, on fire, dedicated, committed, and never missed a beat in the ministry with Jesus!
Someone said this to me yesterday, and it spoke to me. “How many times have we done ministry for God, but not with God?” WOW! I was guilty.
I will not slow down, I will not give up, I will not back down, and I will stay in sync with God’s Word. I will love God, love others, and serve the world! This is who I am going to be! You may not agree with my mission statement and how I plan to serve God, but I knew a young man that was so close to God that tons of people are being saved just from watching his testimony videos from You Tube. I want to make an impact! Nothing will hold me back from that.
The Lord will help and guide me and he will guide you! If your not doing everything you can to see more souls come to Jesus then get on board with the mission of Christ. We were not put on this earth to please ourselves we were put here to bring Glory to His name and bring as many as we could to the Kingdom of Heaven! THAT WILL BE MY MISSION! – FOREVER! BLB- BE LIKE BRYAN!
I’m planning on moving to Heaven and I want you to go with me. Will you?
