28 YEARS!

Today I am filled with joy as I woke to the wonderful one day a year that I call my Birthday. On this day I was brought into this world by two wonderful parents, who have raised me to know Jesus,  to love Him, and to understand how to be a Christian. For that I’m thankful. Today I want to take a little road down history. Here comes the timeline of the last 28 years.

1985- February 19 I was born

1990- I was saved in the van while traveling from church to church with my parents southern gospel band. (my best friend Nathan was saved at the same time)

1991- First boyfriend broke up with me, and I got glasses (must be why)

1993- 3rd Grade, when I became apart of my home church, Cathedral of Praise. (the best times ever)

1995- 5th grade, I broke my arm cause I thought I could swing at school with one arm only, I was just trying to impress my new boyfriend. (He broke up with me over the answering machine)

1996- Moved from Boaz to Carlisle School. (unhappy day)

Lets just skip seventh and eighth grade cause I had braces!

2001- Turned 16, got a mustang (blue), got a job at Factory Connections & went on my first real date with Matthew Cannon

2002- Moved to Etowah from Sardis (great day)

2003- Graduated from High School!!!

2004- Started working with Youth Group at my church

2008- Graduated College from Jacksonville State University (Economics Degree)

2008- Got married to the best Husband ever – Mr Matthew Cannon

May 2008- Official Youth Pastor at Free Life (my calling)

2010- Violet Cannon was born (best day ever of my life)

2013- February 28, 5 year Anniversary to my husband (going to Disney World)

So in the past 28 years, some breakups, some bones broken, marriage, baby and now onto the next 5 years with my wonderful family! I just wanted to say thank you God, I’m so thankful for the 28 years you have given me. You are a great God! Image

I'm a mother, wife, daughter, Pastor, and devoted Christian! I love to go get my toe nails painted, watch the Golden Girls, and play with my two awesome kids. I have a devoted husband who makes me laugh out loud a lot! I'm happy because I have Jesus living in my heart. I believe God is calling out an Unshakeable generation and we are becoming!
