I wish there was a Bliss button on life, don’t you. Like a button you have in your car to defrost your car windows when it’s getting cloudy all around you. A button you could press when the view is becoming cloudy, when life gets tough, and when your joy seems out of gas! A BLISS BUTTON! I love this quote here from C.S. Lewis a wise man.

This quote reminds me that many times in our lives, we just want the easy way out of everything. We seem to just want to press a button and our life just be blissful, rich and prosperous. Guess what, there is no bliss button in life, except through the WORDS OF CHRIST! I love that in this quote we were called half-hearted creatures who fool with pleasures of life, when the joy of our salvation has been offered to us freely, all we need to do is accept this Bliss and enjoy the moments with our Savior.
Each week as I work with people here at our local church, I see so many who give up BIG DREAMS, BIG IDEAS, BIG MOMENTS to SETTLE for less, because they see no point in trying anymore for the BIG THING! God desires to give you the desires of your heart. According to Psalm 37:4 it says if we take delight in the Lord, he will give you the desires of your heart. We just have to match up our heart to His, and we can have those BIG DREAMS, BIG MOMENTS and not have to settle for less.
I want to encourage you today to check out the words of Christ in the Bible and seek out His heart and plan for your life, instead of reaching for the BLISS BUTTON.
