Last night I was honored to stand in the room with several students who were praising God loudly by dancing, shouting, and jumping as they screamed out I’m gonna change the World! They inspired me last night, because as they screamed it out you could tell they mean’t every word of it.
When I was their age I looked at life somewhat different, life was not me changing the world but others changing the world for me. But after last night’s chant of I’m gonna change the world the heartbeat of my heart began to rise because I found new determination, new purpose, and a newfound passion for seriously Changing the World.
Changing the world for us could be, leading someone to Christ, sharing with someone our testimony, giving to someone or something, simply paying it forward with love and kindness, God just wants us to begin to change the world we live in by sharing the love of Christ with everyone through our own lives. We just need to stand up for what we believe in and step out into His plan for our lives.
Some may call us crazy, but I call it PASSION! We need to become passionate for the love of our life, Jesus Christ! Passion should fuel in us!
I’m amazed at how so many students last night were screaming out I’m gonna change the world, and they never noticed how much they helped change me! Just one simple kind word, one simple kind hearted task, one simple song could change the world!
