Momma Goldberg teaching me a lesson!

The other day me and Matt & Violet all went out to Wal-mart to get diapers & wipes of course! On our way through we decided to stop at Momma Goldberg’s for a quick sandwich thru the drive-thru! We order our food, you better try the nachos with the cheese melted on top, its to die for! Well, there was this guy sitting right in front of us in a white truck, and his car would not start. Guess where he was sitting, right at the window! So of course we could not get our food, and we couldn’t pay for our food, which I was ok with lol. So I’m driving the car, and I nudge Matt and tell him that he needs to help the guy out. Matt looks at me like, really? I’m thinking you better get out of this car and push that guy out of the way, so I can EAT!

So finally, Matt jumps out and ask the guy if he can help him out. After several pushes we finally got him pushed out of the way, so I could pay & EAT! Well I’m still thinking about food, and then there goes Matt wanting me to pull around and jump this guy off, cuz his battery is dead. Really?

So after we help this guy, and my food was cold, I actually started to feel bad. Ya know I’m really self-centered. This poor guy goes to college & was studying, and needed a break. He went to get him a sandwich and he had an unlucky moment! I hate those! Kinda like the day I accidently ran off from the gas station with the gas pump still in my car…needless to say that was REALLY BAD!

So Momma Goldberg’s taught me a lesson in the drive-thru! I really believe God was testing me! Was we going to help this guy, or was we going to pass this opportunity of loving others before ourself? After we moved on and got everybody home and in bed, I knew that God was just reminding me that others should always come before ourselves!

Watch out for more randomoness coming your way!
